We’ve had two hard days of making slops, covering rushes and building walls. We have had midges, drizzle, sunshine and heavy showers.
But, slowly the kiln progressed.
It had found its personality and is looking on to stone rows built by Melli, Steve and Tom. Loch Yarrows is looking beautiful in the evening light. Exhibitors are begining to arrive, and tomorrow 120 children will come along to use natural pigments to paint the stone rows. The kiln is safely wrapped up now as the forecast is not good, ready to be lit early on Saturday morning.
